Steve joined the team at Swanfield Chapel in November 2020. Before moving to Chichester, he had pastored a church on the west coast of Scotland, taught in Bible Colleges in Mozambique and Ecuador, and worked as a schoolteacher in the UK and overseas. He came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 11 through the ministry of the Crusaders, and has been involved in a wide variety of churches; his theological training was undertaken at International Christian College in Glasgow. He joins us with his wife Katuska and their teenage boys.
David moved to Chichester and joined Swanfield chapel in 1984. He has helped in several areas of church life and is currently an elder and the church secretary. David’s background is engineering and business consultancy but now enjoys retirement. He is married to Christine and they have two married daughters and five grandchildren.
Trevor is married to Linda, a retired teacher, and they have a grown-up son and daughter. A Chartered Accountant specialising in advice to charities, he is actively involved in both formal and informal charity sector groups and is a charity trustee.
Jon became a Christian at the age of nine when God challenged him during the evening service at Swanfield Chapel. Some years later, while visiting the work of Scripture Union in Peru, he met Sally and they are now married with two children. He works in IT and loves walking in the hills whenever he can.
